Pink Coconut Designs

I have loved creating for as long as I can remember…my mom still has my “fashion line” of baby clothes that I designed in kindergarten. I sold my work for the first time at 14, when a boutique in the Five Points shopping district in Jacksonville, Florida ordered 2 dozen hand made purses from me. A year later I was hired to paint my first mural in a nursery; this is when I discovered that I truly love painting whimsical children’s themes. When my first niece, Ella, was born, I wanted her to have custom artwork in her nursery. With thousands of miles between us, a plaque was much more practical than a wall mural. I have been painting custom plaques for babies and children ever since! I previously studied art and interior design at Florida State University, and am now finishing my degree at Brigham Young University. Thank you for visiting The Pink Coconut.
